Drizzy dropped his new jam via the siteThe Journey Through Law School.“A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though,” theCanadian rapperwrote.
“I got car money, fresh start money, I want Saudi money, I want art money,” Drake declares in the opening of the track. Later he announces that he’s“too busy,” ponders how he can get the border to issue him clearance to get into Paris given that his“latest girl” has some charges and points out that his favorite rappers are all dead.
There’s not too much as far as a hook to this bare track, so at least Drake made the right decision to not issue“Dreams Money Can Buy” as a single. Really, it’s passable album filler at best.

Unfortunately, The-Dream’s version doesn’t add anything we weren’t already getting from the original: a sexy bedroom-ready beat and plenty of come-hither coos in the vocals. We wonder what motivated The-Dream to add himself onto this track— the song’s recentascent on the Hot 100,perhaps?
Consider us motivated to go back and listen to the original again instead.

And may or may not be the same moment referred to in her similarly titled duet with Justin Timberlake, theFutureSex/LoveSoundsslow jam“Until The End Of Time”.
With marching band percussion, swelling,B-Day-style horns and lovesick lyrics, we already see this tune winning with Beyonce stans and casual fans alike. However, we’re seriously itching for a higher BPM track from thebody-mover— though we suppose we already got that with RTW(G). Boo. Third single soon, please! We want to groove on the dance floor to a brand new Bey song without feeling embarrassed.
Tags aside, what do you think of“Till The End Of Time”? Is this a return to form for the pop star?

Christina Aguilera feat. Cee Lo Green - Nasty
Christina takes the lead, and while we can’t make out many of her lyrics in this LQ recording, we can practically hear Cee Lo grinning ear to ear while chiming in with,“Hey baby, wanna see ya get nasty, wanna see ya show your ass, babe!”
It’s bouncy fun, super catchy (especially Xtina’s“hey!” that keeps popping up), and for a song called“Nasty”, includes nocrude-for-the-sake-of-crudeness TMI bon mots found onBionic.
Sure, this tune was a leftover track intended for theBurlesquesoundtrack, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve to be heard. Xtina should save this one for her next album, hopefully out sooner than later.
Blake Shelton and Adam Levine must be feeling left out right about now. Maybe Blake can guest on a Maroon 5 track and make it even stevens?
Ke$ha - 31 Seconds Alone (Demo)
“We could be having the night of our lives / Pull the fire alarm, I would scream there’s a bomb in the building for 31 seconds alone,” an already Auto-Tuned K-Dolla sings on the track.
For a girl who’s already shared her delight indevouring human fleshandmurdering unicorns, this tune fails to impress us much. And why the random time frame of 31 seconds? Why not a full seven minutes in heaven?

Meanwhile, Wiz takes up chorus duties on the track.“Through the fight, through the pain, booked a flight, took a plane / Told her not to cry, I’ll be back one day,” he promises.
The track itself bears more than a little resemblance to Khalifa’s own winter hit“Black And Yellow”(also produced by Stargate). But these two MCs’ clever word play is charming enough to have us overlooking that fact.

Thesunny20-year-old spits lovelorn rhymes over the“Call Your Girlfriend”artist’s angsty 2005 single, keeping the heartbroken vibe and transforming it into an R&B-flavored jam, with thesoon-to-be California Dreamerherself still rocking the chorus. We’re definitely into the Baltimore rapper’s revamp of an older Robyn tune, since with all the brilliant music fromBody Talk, we’d practically forgotten this oldie-but-goodie. Welcome back,“Be Mine”!
“Never Will Be Mine” is the second single from Rye Rye’s as-yet-unreleased debut album,Go! Pop! Bang.
Sting’s vocal assist is entirely welcome, but“Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot” won’t likely get hearts racing any faster than they did for“Summer Rain”or“Still Got Tonight.”This one fits right in with the easy-listening,“Somewhere Over The Rainbow”vibe of other tracks we’ve heard, all but confirming that this album is aimed more at the moms who watchGleethan their children.
Remind us again why it wasn’t released in time for Mother’s Day this weekend?

J. Cole—“Disgusting”
Okay, we wouldn’t call this track necessarily“disgusting”. But besides most of the lyrics being well, quite uncouth (”Nigga eat a dick, we the shit, no flushin’” is the song’s refrain), the spacey, mellow beat— which reminds us a bit of Kanye West’sMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasytrack“So Appalled”— gets incredibly repetitive by the third minute of the song.

Turtlenecks, chains, and light beers all get a very bad wrap in the latest single from The Lonely Island. The title track from their upcoming albumTurtleneck& Chain(due May 10) gets an assist from one of the LP’sbevy of high-profile celebrity guest stars— in this case, none other than Snoop Dogg himself (who we believe usually preferssomething more potentthan a light beer when he’s looking to party). The comical ditty follows the lead of“We’re Back!”‘ in featuring the boys bragging about stuff the rest of us probably don’t find so alluring. Give the latest“Garfield sex music” a listen below.
The Lonely Island feat Snoop Dogg - Turtleneck& Chain
How much we like“Turtleneck& Chain” really depends solely on whether or not we get a video of Snoop Dogg dressed in same, sipping on a light beer and looking all badass about it. (We say the odds are pretty good— Lonely Island’s shtick has always played better with visual accompaniment.)
And despite the faux-macho posturing on“Turtlenek& Chain,” the track’s sound has us thinking it’d be perfect for Ke$ha— we’re getting a definite“Sleazy”vibe from this one. Lonely Island, Ke$ha, have you been introduced? Something tells us you’d get along like gangbusters.
