Sky Ferreira Complains About Complainers In New Track“Haters Anonymous”| Music News, Reviews, and Gossip on Idolator.com

Sky-Ferreira-As-If-cover-EPSky Ferreira can take what you dish out— just as long as you don’t hide while hatin’ on her. On“Haters Anonymous”, off herAs If!EP (due March 22), the curly-haired blond pop tart rises up against all you Internet meanies who talk trash behind the veil of anonymity. Listen below— and remember, there’s a real person behind every avatar.

Sky Ferreira - Haters Anonymous

The electro-infused track opens with Sky speaking over dubstep beats, criticizing peeps who refuse to name themselves when hatin’ on others, before it kicks into the chorus aided with Casio keyboard beat:“Who started all the fuss / You can’t be serious / Walking around all of us / Haters anonymous.”

It’s definitely unique compared to the pretty standard tunes coming from Sky’s pop peers. What do you think?

While you’re mulling this track over, Sky recently stripped down to her bra and a pair of Calvin Klein jeans as part of a new ad campaign from CK One. Catch her and Cassie keeping it classy (and kind of snuff film-y) below:

Chris Brown And Wiz Khalifa Have A Blast On‘F.A.M.E.’Bonus Track“Bomb”| Music News, Reviews, and Gossip on Idolator.com

cb-wizOn his quest forF.A.M.E.(that’s “Forgiving All My Enemies” — or, at least, itwas), it seems Chris Brown has one more name to cross off the list of those he plans to pardon: whoever leaked thatX-rated photo yesterday(have we learnednothingfromVanessa Hudgens, people?). Luckily, a much less scandalous (if still not exactly family-friendly) leak of Brown’s “Bomb,” featuring the explosive Wiz Khalifa, is well-timed to put the focus back where, for better or worse, it belongs: on his music. Check out the F.A.M.E. bonus track below.

Chris Brown feat. Wiz Khalifa - Bomb

“Apple looking so ripe, she make me want a piece / Give it to her all night, so she don’t want to leave,” theno-longer-restrainedrapper sings here— and surprise! It’s not about an actual piece of fruit. The track is a none-too-serious ditty filled with the typical naughty rhymes and bragging of sexual prowess, plus an unnecessary shout-out to September 11 and plenty ofRolling Papersreferences to cross-promote Khalifa’s upcoming album, too. It’s a perfectly listenable but unremarkable tune that unfortunately just doesn’t blow us away like a Chris Brown-Wiz Khalifa pairing ought to.

That this is a bonus track feels just about right— while the duo certainly hasn’t blown it with“Bomb,” we can’t exactly call it a bang-up job, either. (We’ll leave any further“Bomb” puns for your comments.)

“Wet” and“Club Banger Nation” sound like it could strike a chord with clubgoers, though“Heartbeat” remains our favorite song on the album.

First impressions, folks? Are these songs good enough to make Nicole a household name, or should she just scramble back to front the 517th incarnation of The Pussycat Dolls?

David Cook4Good thing forAmerican Idolthat they now have enough famous alum to team up with to do some cross-promotion. Season 7 winner David Cook recorded a cover of Simple Minds’“Don’t You Forget About Me” (fromThe Breakfast Clubsoundtrack, of course) as this season’s send-off song. The timing is pretty perfect— Cook is in the studio putting thefinishing touches on his sophomore album, and we would not be surprised if the LP was set to be released not long after theIdolfinale in May, where he will no doubt be performing this cover. Listen to it below!

David Cook–“Don’t You Forget About Me”

And here’s a bespectacled David in the studio withEntertainment Tonight:

His number one piece of advice he gave toIdolwinners Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze who followed his big win?“Sleep whenever you can.”

We will not hide our unabashed love for David Cook. It’s been more than a minute since he’s been relevant, but he’s still so charming. Are you as excited as us for his next set of tunes?

Lady Gaga Debuts New Song“Government Hooker”At Mugler Fashion Show | Music News, Reviews, and Gossip on Idolator.com

63772257Lady Gaga, finally free from those pointy skin-hued shoulder pads, not only made her runaway debut at theMugler fashion showin Paris this afternoon— she debuted her new song“Government Hooker” as she strutted her stuff in her standard giant platform hooves. The song is pretty good, and Gaga didn’t fall and become“fashion roadkill”, so it’s a double success! Listen to a snippet of“Government Hooker” below.

The song segues into“Born This Way”around 3:20, and Gaga makes her fierce appearance in the very beginning (looking oh-so French smoking a cigarette) and again at 6:20.

Lady Gaga—“Government Hooker” (Snippet)

“I’m gonna drink my tears tonight / Gonna drink my tears and cry / Cause I know you love me baby,” sings Gaga.“Put your hands on me, John F. Kennedy.”

We’re not sure if this is the studio track or a remix. But it’s definitely more out-there and eccentric than“Born This Way”, and it sounds both totally 80s new wave and completely original at once.

Somehow we don’t think this one will be an official single— but hey, that didn’t stop Gaga’s Fame Monster track“Dance In The Dark” from being nominated for a Grammy.

Thoughts on Gaga’s new tune, little monsters? While you’re no doubt listening to“Government Hooker” a dozen more times, check out one more pic from the fashion show. Those giantess pigtails are adorable!

Then again, she’s probably striking while the iron’s hot, since she’sthisclosetolanding a record deal. (Please, pleaserecord a feisty duet with Willow Smith is all we ask.) Listen to three tunes sung by Gwyneth onGleebelow.

Glee Cast feat. Gwyneth Paltrow - Kiss

Glee Cast feat. Gwyneth Paltrow - Landslide

Glee Cast feat. Gwyneth Paltrow- Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)

Gwyneth sounds perfectly lovely on all three songs, though we’re not positive any of these will become an insta-hit like Gwynnie’s“Forget You”. Still, no second hand embarrassment to be found. Maybe she should host the Oscars next year? You know she’d totally be game!

Are you enjoying Paltrow’s second career wave as a professional warbler? Tell us below.
