Sade’s The Ultimate Collectiondrops May 3, and the melodious soul outfit is celebrating its double-disc feast of tunes with none other than Hova.“The Moon& The Sky,” produced by Noah“40″ Shebib, features a verse from Jay-Z. Sade’s mellow, elegant voice floats through the track, and Jay  — pontificating a few regrets, what ifs, and what could have beens — fits in quite nicely. Listen below.

We already know that Lupeoriginally recorded the song“Nothin’ On You”, and that it went on to be released by B.o.B and became a Grammy-nominated chart-topper for the rising artist. (Lupe, suffice to say,wasn’t too happy about it.) Well, that wasn’t the only Bobby Ray single that could have been Fiasco’s smash hit in an alternate universe – the MC also recorded other Grammy-nomm’d song “Airplanes”. Listen to both versions below and tell us who did it better!

Now check out Fiasco’s version, in which he raps about two lovers, whereas B.o.B used the song as an expression of handling success:

The biggest thing missing from Lupe’s version? Energy. Maybe we’re simply used to B.o.B’s take since that’s the version we’re used to, but Bobby Ray’s spirited delivery makes Lupe just come off as disinterested.

But honestly, either way we think this track would have been a hit, since it’s really Hayley’s hook that sells it.

Chris Brown huffed and puffed away from histemper tantrumbackstage ofGood Morning Americamostly unscathed— after a few bad days of press, Brown was still allowed toperform onDancing With The Starsand even scored his first#1 album. Not included on version ofF.A.M.E.released here in the States was“Talk Ya Ear Off”, a Timbaland-produced bonus track on the Japanese edition of his album. On the bubbling beatbox-assisted tune, Chris calls all the“pretty ladies to the floor” and lets them know he’s not interested in them because he wants some conversation.

Kicking in with some beatboxing that lays itself across the whole track, Timbaland does his usual thing while Brown makes it work in this catchy dance club number. We just wish Breezy would cut back on the Auto Tune. We know he can sing— why mask your voice with so much production?

If you’re getting antsy waiting for theTron: Legacyremix albumto come out, here’s a little something to hold you over. A new track featuring Pharrell rapping over Daft Punk’smoody scorefor the film has just leaked, and true to its name,“The Game Has Changed” putsSara Bereilles’ web cam buddyin a whole new ballgame (or should we say video game?). OnlyTronstar Jeff Bridges covering N.E.R.D.’s“Hot N’ Fun”could have our curiosity any more piqued. Have a listen below.

“LikeTron, I’m brightly outlining my shit up,” thefence-hopperspits in just one of many cinematic shout-outs (appropriate, given that the music is from a movie). The references are all over the place:The Da Vinci Code,King Kong,Twilight, Mini Me,Return of the Jedi, and of course, Michael Jackson (since seemingly every rapper feels the urge to name-check the late King of Pop at least once per song). And while initially this pairing of rap with the Disney sci-fi flick’s soundtrack seems like a totally random experiment, it all kinda makes sense when we recall that Daft Punk produced“Hypnotize U”on N.E.R.D.’sNothing, and the Neptunesremixedthe French duo’s“Harder Better Faster Stronger”long before Kanye West ever got his hands on it.

Pharrell - The Game Has Changed

We think the gloomy, suspenseful Daft Punk score is a strange but surprisingly good bedfellow for Pharrell’s intense (and equally dark) verses, which give us such memorable gems as “run too hard, you might tear your meniscus” and informs us thatthe Oh Land collaboratormisses“the taste of blood.” (Meanwhile, we’ll also get to hear the Crystal Method’s take on “The Game Has Changed” whenTron: Legacy R3C0NF1GUR3Ddrops on Tuesday.)

“I hate to eat and run, but this was delicious,” is Pharrell’s exit line here, and while we completely agree, at just over two minutes, this is more like a tasty snack than a fully satisfying meal. The track ends rather abruptly — is this possibly just a taste of more to come? Probably not,but we’re intrigued enough by “The Game Has Changed” that we could go for hearing Pharrell rhyme over the entire soundtrack.

Consider our appetite for rapping over film scores officially whetted. More, please!

More than just temporary nemeses, Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj are on track to become full-on mortal enemies for life now that thewiggy Trinidadianhas taken a swipe back at the former jailbird who devotedan entire mixtapeto this she-brawl. That swipe comes in the form of the snippet“Tragedy,” produced by Hit-Boy and rumored to be from Lil Wayne’s upcomingTha Carter IV. We can’t say Lil Kim didn’t have this coming aftergruesomely decapitatingtheSongs for Japanartiston herBlack Fridaycover art (not to mention thevideo). But Nicki’s already clearly come out ahead in this battle royale thanks to all her recent success, while Lil Kim came off as a has-been struggling to stay relevant by cashing in on controversy she herself created. Is a response from Nicki necessary? Absolutely not— but you’ll never hear us complaining about new music from this“Fly”girl, especially when the result is as delightfully catty as“Tragedy.”

‘Glee’Planning A Super-Sized“Born This Way”Episode As Warblers Ask“Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?”| Music News, Reviews, and Gossip on Idolator.com

Glee’s April 26 episode is so big, it won’t even fit in its normal time slot.Reportssay that the ep, titled“Born This Way”— which, incidentally, concludes with a rousing performance of Lady Gaga’s single, may be expanded to 90 minutes. More details (and a brand new Warblers tune!) below.

In the episode, the kids deal with self-acceptance issues, such as Lauren running for prom queen and Rachel considering a nose job. It was also mentioned by show creator Ryan Murphy that this episode may involve Kurt’s bully, Karofsky, finally taking a step toward accepting his sexuality.

“This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark,”he toldEntertainment Weeklyback in January.“But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don’t really know what that’s going to be, but I do know we’re going to do a whole episode that’s about {Gaga's 'Born This Way'}.”

Instead of cutting anything out of the episode, producers want to add two more musical numbers and make this a super-sized episode. May we suggest simply having The Warblers sing two more songs?
