The song’s title would have you believe it’s some sappy ballad, but David Cook’s new single“The Last Goodbye”—the first offering from his upcomingThis Loud MorningLP—is here, and it’s pretty rockin’. The new tune from the Season 7American Idolalum was added to iTunes today. Give a listen and weigh in on it below!

“if you hear this on the radio, then we’ve already said our last goodbye,” Cook laments about a lost love on his new single, a co-write with Ryan Tedder. Later he adds,“We were almost beautiful, a broken piece of art put on display.”

Musically, we’re almost getting a Kelly Clarkson-meets-Coldplay vibe here, though David’s vocals are unmistakably his own. We’re just happy he’s kicking things off this time around with an upbeat number.

“The Last Goodbye” marks Cook’s official return following his eponymous, post-Idoldebut, which came out nearly three years ago. From what you’ve heard so far, was it worth the wait?

Given that her first two singles are the only collaborations with other artists onLove?, werecently wonderedwhether or not Jennifer Lopez would be able to carry the remainder of the album all on her own. Now the answer is here in the form of theBillboard Music Award performer’s“Papi,” produced by RedOne, the third single (already!) from J-Lo’s latest LP (dropping May 3). Listen to the Latina-tinged“On The Floor”-style club banger below.

While this track, like“On The Floor,” doesn’t bring anything new to the dance party table (or require J-Lo to learn any new tricks we didn’t already hear from her a decade ago), that isn’t really a problem. This track is totally club-ready and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t play just as well as“On The Floor.”

As if theworld’s most beautiful womanreally needs another boost to her ego!

Harper’s Bazaarcover girlLady Gaga might be clutching the Rosary today over her newBorn This Waysingle“Judas”popping up online, ahead of its official April 19 release date. A low-quality snippet of the song was doing the rounds, but now the full song has now surfaced. Hear it below!

“Judas” appears to combine dubstep, dance-pop and even heavy metal elements into one fast-paced oddity of a tune. We’re just still laughing, allBeavis And Butt-head-like, over Gaga employing the words“hooker,”“prostitute” and“wench.”

If anything, this short bit of the song proves thatthese lyrics, at least in part, are bunk.

From the intro to the chorus to Lady Gaga calling out her own name in theJudas-jude-ah-ahchant,“Judas” comes off as being reminiscent of her 2009 smash“Bad Romance.”

During herchat at Google’s headquarterslast month, Gaga mentioned that“Judas is a man of the Biblical senses. So expect to see some symbolism in this video.”
