Adam Lambert’s“Aftermath”Gets A Billboard Remix | Music News, Reviews, and Gossip on Idolator.com

Adam LambertWhile we’re still chomping at the bit for the arrival of that Adam Lambertlive CD/DVD combo, the Glam One is throwing his fans a bone in the form of a remix by Billboard (aka Mathieu Jomphe) ofFor Your Entertainmenttrack“Aftermath.” Put on your dancing boots and give it a listen below.

Glamazons will know“Aftermath” in it’s slower, more rock-oriented form. It’s a great jam that really allows for some prime wailing by Adam.

And recently, Billboard co-produced Britney Spears’“Hold It Against Me”and“Till The World Ends”with Max Martin and Dr. Luke, two tunesmiths Lambert has worked with, as well.

Here’s Adam’s interview with Ryan Seacrest from today, where he discusses “Aftermath” and the fact that he’ll be performing an acoustic version onAmerican Idoltomorrow night (the remix kicks in at 4:03):

Personally, we’re digging the dreamy feel of the Billboard remix of“Aftermath,” particularly the parts where Adam’s upper range is more prevalent. That said, we love the album version, too, and we really can’t place one above the other. (What doyouthink?)

Neon Limelightpoints out that the remix will be available from Lambert’s official site tomorrow. As Adam said in his interview with Ryan Seacrest, part of the proceeds will go toward benefiting The Trevor Project.
